Reviews for Logitech Cordless Mini Optical Mouse
Optical - USB - MPN: 9313960403
Price is right. Fine for travel
Strengths: Like any other mini-mouse, sized for storage and easy travel.
Weakness: None
My last wireless laptop mouse died abruptly, forcing me to buy this one (it was on sale at the time). Connected immediately, worked as advertised. May be too small for some, but no complaints here.

Topgood mouse
Strengths: small, no delay, long battery life
Weakness: None
I am very satisfied with this mouse. I have been using it for 1 month now and I have not experienced any problems at all. It is very small, so I can carry it in my laptop case easily.

TopLogitech Cordless Mini Mouse
Strengths: Small size, high precision, long battery life
Weakness: None
This mouse is small enough to be put into a pocket. The precision of the point is amazing. You can adjust the speed of moving in your mouse property setup. Even if you move the mouse very fast it can still locate a desired position precisely. What's more impressive is the battery life. I remember for some early stage logitech optimal mice, you had to change batteries every few days. However this mouse is really power efficient. If you do not use the mouse for a while, it will automatically enter the power save mode. Thus a new battery can easily last for months. Maybe just one thing can be improved, that is the weight due to the AA battery. If an AAA battery is used it would be even lighter.

TopLogitech Cordless Mini Optical Mouse
Strengths: perfect size, no lag time, battery indicator, uses standard AA battery
Weakness: none
The Logitech Cordless Mini Optical Mouse is a great wireless mouse for people who do not plan on using it for intensive applications such as gaming. I use it daily for school work and web-surfing. There is no lag-time when using the mouse and my laptop is able to detect the mouse at a good distance away.

TopLogitech notebook mouse.
Strengths: Small size, excellent function
Logitech is one of the most respected in the computer keyboard and mice industry. this is another of thir excellent products. stylish looking and small in size, this is perfect for laptop owners like me that need occasional break from using the synaptic pointing device built-in. no cords to mess with. just plug-n-play. works very well.

TopLogitech Cordless Mini Mouse
Strengths: Good Battery life, uses standard AA battery, and has battery indicator.
Weakness: Provided software works only on Windows & Mac. But will work as a basic mouse in Linux. Installation is not straight forward.
I like this mouse, as it is very responsive to movement, and there is no annoying red light at the bottom. The battery life is supposed to be great, and it uses standard AA battery. First time I installed this mouse, it would not work. After a couple of tries & the latest software from logitech.com, it started to work. I also works in Linux as a basic wheel optical mouse. The receptacle for the usb dongle at the base of the mouse is not too good, and basically useless.

TopGreat wireless mouse
Strengths: Small, high resolution
Weakness: so high resolution that the mouse on screen sometimes slides
I bought this mouse from circuit city and I have been using it for about a week. I like it pretty much, better than the microsoft wireless mouse I used last year. It actually works at a wider range too, which is a lot convenient to me.

TopOK mouse for the price
Strengths: Single battery , design
Weakness: The functionality is basic, but I am OK with it.Not very precise
Setup was really simple . My only complaint is that the mouse doesn't come with rechargeable batteries.
Not so happy with the performance though. It goes through "phases" where it really lags behind and gets jumpy as I move it around. Almost as though the signal can't keep up with my movements.

TopA cheap, working mouse with bad software driver
Strengths: Low price, long battery life, ergonomic design
Weakness: short wireless range, Awkwared placement of USB receiver when not in use, software needs some work
Size and construction-
sturdy and good-looking. Small
but still easy to operate. This is really a mouse
operated with fingers. For people that are used to hold
the bulky Microsoft mice with their palms, this mouse may
not feel right. When not in use, the USB receiver is
stored under the mouse. It does not recess into the man
body like some other cordless mouse. I suppose this is
to make room for the AA battery it houses in the main
body. AA battery seems to run forever, but the protruding
USB receiver is just....ugly. Oh well, a trade-off I guess.
Wireless range-
only about 6-8 feet. When the USB receiver
is hidden behind the screen of a laptop, the range is
reduced to about 2-3 feet. To circomvent this problem I
use a USB extension cable.
Responsiveness-
This mouse is quite responsive as a
cordless mouse. In fact, I feel this Mini cordless mouse
was a little jumpy (1100 dpi resolution), as compared to
my old corded MX310 (800 dpi). I had to reduce the speed
in the SetPoint software to fit my personal liking.
Wheel function-
The wheel runs quite smoothly, better than
MX310. You need to apply cirtain pressure for the middle
click, so it isn't likely to be activated by mistake. The
tilt (left/right scroll) function requires the SetPoint
software. For me this is my first mouse with tilt wheel.
I feel it works nicely.
Software-
This is my biggest complain. I downloaded the
supposedly newest SetPoint3.10 for this mini cordless
mouse. It enables the tilt wheel and Zoom functions by
default. Great! But that's about where the good things
run out. The software, in both Windows 2000 and XP, equires an extra download to display the correct image of
the real thing and its buttons. It does the downloading
automatically by itself, but you need an online connection
and it is still an hassle. Worse, the installation places
an icon on both your desktop and the system tray, wasting
my valuable desktop space. You can delete the desktop
icon safely. But if you turn of the tray icon, the tilt
and zoom functions don't work, just as if you did not
install the software. You simply can not remove the
tray icon while keeping the assigned functions. Most
previous logitech drivers will let you do that. In the
WindowsXP system I tried this mouse on, it told me that I
don't have enough privilege to change the assigned
functions of the buttons, but still allowed me to change
all the settings. What kind of software design is that?
There are other smaller problems but I will stop here.
Conclusion-
For ~$10 after rebate (not including tax)
this mouse is a good deal. I will use it mainly for
presentation in meetings and occasional settings. If you
desire a longer working range (> 8 feet) you should look
somewhere else. For daily works I will keep my corded
mouse. For gamers or computer artists cordless mice are
still far from perfect. And for Logitech, your mice are
only as good as its software drivers. Please hire someone
that is more competent to write the drivers. I have not
been so dispointed by a logitech software like this.

TopLogitech cordless mouse
Strengths: Great little wireless mouse, portable and good battery life
Weakness: Receiver does not snap in properly sometimes
My expectations were not very high when I bought this mouse because it was only $9.99 after rebates. It surprised me and feels pretty good and also very accurate.
I have one complaint about the snap in receiver ,it does not completely snap in completely into the mouse like other models. Especially while travelling I store the mouse in a laptop bag and the receiver comes off and causes the battery to be consumed.

TopGreat Mouse
Strengths: Good appearance, comfort design, accurate
Weakness: N/A
Logitech always provides the best mice! This one is very comfort to use, and has low battery indicator. It is wireless, accurate and gets along with my laptop very well. The wheel is designed for four way operation. It could be better if smaller, but no complain. Recommended.

TopLogitech Cordless Mini Optical Mouse
Strengths: USB receiver can snap into mouse. Tilt Wheel. Not too small so it fits my hand. Light weight. Easy installation. Cheap.
Weakness: USB receiver is pretty big.
My objective for buying this mouse is to carry it with my notebook anywhere. And I chose this one because of the brand and the price. The first impression I had from this mouse is that the receiver is quite big. But it can compensate with snapable to the mouse which is very important if it has to be carried all the time. I don't have any problem so far from this mouse. However, the quality is not quite good if compared to other high-end wireless mini mouse. But you can beat it with its price. Overall I satisfy with the mouse.

TopSweet little compact mouse!! Works gr8 for me!
Strengths: Prefer cordless mouse than the scrollpad with notebooks. Great logitech product, no time lag, doesnt hang inbetween. Nice little scrollwheel. Very compact and handy.
Weakness: Not very fancy or attractive. Doesn't come with rechargable batteried and need to keep an eye on battery life. May be not good for people with bigger hands.
I purchased this mouse along with my new sony notebook. Basically i am not much confortable with the scrollpad on notebooks and prefer a mouse rather.
The mouse/keyboard combo occupies too much space, hence went for single cordless mouse.
I trust logitech products (used lot earlier) and they work great. I don't experience any time lag, not it gets hung in between. Scrolls smoothly, very light wt, fits fine for my hand ..
The scrollwheel works just as expected. Good thing is nothing fancy about it. The device with titled wheel, lots of buttons, forward, back etc are difficult to operate with, but not in this case.
The best part for this is the USB connecting drive fits into the back side of mouse so that you don't have to worry about loosing it while travelling making it very compact and handy.

Topcordless mini optical mouse(Logitech)
Strengths: Cheap;Logitech;Good looking;Good precision;Easy set up
Weakness: Too small
For this price,I think it's a very good choice. It's too small for me, but will be a very good mouse for my wife. You know it's mini and designed for laptop.

TopGood little Logitech Cordless Mini Optical Mouse
Strengths: Portable, ergonomic, plug-n-play, long battery life
Weakness: Price
Except for price, this is a great wireless mouse for the laptop. All Logitech products are high quality, but they tend to be a little pricey. Again, you get what you pay for.

TopLogitech Cordless Mini Optical Mouse
Strengths: This product is very good. It is compact and works well. would highly recommend. lower outer part opens and holds 1AA battery. very good quality
Weakness: It may be little small for some people
I am a big fan of logitech accessories. This is perfect for a notebook. works well and has a battery indicator feature that blinks when it is low. overall a good product. detected immediately when connected on winXP. love it..

Topa bargain
Strengths: A great price for a really good mouse
Weakness: It needs to be very close to the transmitter.
This is a great little wireless USB mouse. Although it's featured as a mini, I have one each for my laptop AND desktop systems - one PC and one Mac - and it works great with both. Nice response, no delay, and the battery lasts for several months. I'm a huge fan of the scroll wheel; I really miss it when I have to use a non-scroll mouse. I highly recommend this one if you're looking for performance at a value price.

TopA better mousetrap
Strengths: has a battery meter, auto shut off feature, zoom and a tilt wheel with side-to-side scrolling.
Weakness: the ergonomics will be a drawback in this particular product. The wireless technology is robust and delivers well, and the remaining technologies are more than enough for any notebook user. The price of the unit is quite reasonable, and expectedly, it sho
Obviously, the mini in this case is meant for notebook users who prefer compact mice while traveling. The color scheme, to me, is pretty. I like silver blend with a bit of dark chocolate black in between. Fit nicely in my hand!!!!

TopSome nice features but also some poor points
Strengths: Nice feel, standard notebook sized, side to side scrolling, zoom feature with scroll wheel, battery strength indicator
Weakness: Need to download Logitech Setpoint program in order to use additional features. Setpoint is not compatible with Synaptics touchpad driver. Poor USB receiver storage on bottom of mouse.
Like most Logitech mice this one works well and has a good feel to it. The side to side scrolling is a little quirky, either going very slow or very fast regardless of the Setpoint settings. Unlike the Microsoft wireless notebook mouse's USB receiver which Windows recognizes as a pointing device, Windows recognizes the Logitech receiver as a USB receiver and so does not disable the laptop's touchpad when the Logitech mouse is connected to the laptop (at least not if your laptop touchpad controller is the Synaptics, which all of mine are). I do like the side to side scrolling capability at this price point, and the zoom feature is handy to downsize web pages that are slightly wider than your browser display eliminating the need to constantly side scroll to read longer lines of text. The way the USB receiver snaps onto the bottom of the mouse could be better, it is fairly secure now while the mouse is new but I could see it loosening up over time allowing the mouse to remain powered on while in storage in your laptop case. The addition of the battery strength indicator on the top of the mouse is a nice feature.

Topnice ergonomics, but carrying is a bit odd
Strengths: - feels nice - very responsive
Weakness: a little awkward to carry without a rubber band or something
Unlike some of their more upscale models, and contrary to what logitech implies, the receiver does not plug in to the mouse -- it plugs ON to the mouse. That is, it mates to the bottom of the mouse. Problems: there is no cap for the usb receiver, so it's liable to get damaged or wet or whatever; the clip on isn't very strong, so it WILL fall apart in your backpack (or whatever) causing you possibly to lose the receiver and for sure to waste the batteries. On the other hand, the ergonomics really are pretty good.

TopGreat quality and very light
Strengths: lightweight, and quality name brand. cost low
Weakness: a tad small for some hands
Obviously it is nice to be free of the dreaded cord, but more than that this mouse feels like it is still connected as far as movement is concerned. Fluid and correct at all times. I cannot belive I did not move up to one earlier.

TopExcellent Cordless Mouse
Strengths: Compact, easy to transport, good battery life
Weakness: No Linux support.
This is an excellent wireless optical mouse for the price.
This mouse also lets you scroll side to side and zoom in and out on a web page. The usb receiver does not securely fit into the base of the mouse, so you might want to be careful that you don't loose it while you are on the road.

Logitech Cordless Mini Optical Mouse
Strengths: Accurate (a little move makes the cursor move a longer distance than other cordless optical mice I've ever used). No red light at the bottom of the mouse. Use only 1 AA battery.
Weakness: Unable to attach the mouse on the wireless dongle (to turn off the mouse) if the dongle is plugged to the computer or a USB hub.
I bought this mouse for $11 (after CircuitCity rebates + tax). I don't think this mouse is worth more than that. If this mouse included a laser light (to use when doing presentations), that would be great.
