I purchased a New (not refurb/bstock/overstock)ViewSonic VX2433wm monitor from EnterComputers.com
When I received my monitor 1/9 the box was in perfect condition, not a single dent, hole, and inside the box nothing appeared to have shifted or moved during shipment. As I unpacked the monitor, I noticed several large scratches on the monitor screen. As I unpacked it, I also noticed there were smudges and fingerprints all over the black bezel, like someone had tried to clean it, but hadn't done a good job.
Then I saw dents and scratches on the right hand side of the monitor, like it had been dropped, or banged into a wall.
The sticker with the serial/model number clearly appears to have been replaced/rebaged.
I emailed them yesterday, and still no reply. Given some of the other feedback I've seen now, I'm worried I've been scammed. Even if I get this monitor replaced, theyll likely charge me shipping and a 15% restock fee per their policy for any "still functioning" return/RMA Retailer Response (04/01/2010): Our customer received an "open box" item by mistake from our shipping warehouse. Product was picked up and a full refund has been issued as customer requested. |

(Edited December 22nd by KentWang) I purchased a new BenQ monitor from their website. Nowhere was it listed as refurbished, so I assumed it's new. The power button on it recently broke. I called BenQ and gave them the serial number of the unit and they said the unit had been repaired a few months before it was sold to me and is refurbished. So EnterComputers.com sold me a refurbished model when I paid for a new one, which is deceptive and fraudulent. I've contacted them but they refuse to do anything about it. |

Service was very prompt and courteous, with no undue pressure to buy additional items, although an opportunity to purchase an extended warranty for the purchased item was presented. A question by me as to the suitability of item (Projector) for use with Macintosh computer was answered by both email and phone call. Item was "as advertised". Transaction was completely satisfactory. |

I didn't set it up right away due to a death in the family, and when I did, I noticed that there was a returnable defect in the display (according to the manufacturer) and I contacted EnterComputers about it for a return. Though it had passed the 7 day return deadline, they have been helpful in getting the display exchanged with the manufacturer. Retailer Response (09/09/2009): We are here to help and our customer's satisfaction is our number one priority. |
