The item is listed in stock,however it has been one that is backordered on other sites. I will be surprised if it is truly in stock at this site. I am somewhat expecting that it is actually backordered. Retailer Response (05/04/2010): We respect your concern, yet we are proud to notify our customers that this order was shipped out promptly. Placed the order over the internet.I called them to verify my order.They ask me some question to verify I was the true card holder.Next day they shipped the item.Only problem I confronted is that I paid over the net for express shipping and they had shipped it priority mail.Called them again and they promptly acknowledge the error and credited my account for the difference.3 days latter it was in Puerto Rico. The post office took more time delievering the item then what it took them to ship it.At the sixth day it was in my hands.A brand new lens with USA warranty and all the paper works that came with it.I will do business with them again in the future because they have the best prices I could find in the internet.Highly recommended |

Great service and great products. I have really enjoyed the lenses I ordered from them. I found their prices pretty tough to beat for new lenses as well. The only hang up with my order was at the hands of UPS who misplaced my order for nearly a week (took 11 days to ship Brooklyn to California to North Carolina). However the customer service folks I contacted at Photo 4 Less were very supportive in the midst of the snafu by UPS. I would definitly shop with these folks again. |

I was at first skeptical. Photo4Less is very price competitive with an apparently large inventory which often raises red flags. I have ordered from them twice now and am contemplating my next order. The lenses I ordered were mint condition, the packaging was great and they arrived within a couple of days. After the first order they phoned to verify a phone number associated with my credit card and the lady was very polite and friendly. I highly recommend this site. |

Placed order on 2/12/10. Order was foe a lens that showed in stock with a 6 yr. USA warranty. On 2/15/10 received a phone call saying the item was out of stock but they had a grey market item available with no warranty for the same price. Sounds like BAIT & SWITCH to me. Retailer Response (03/18/2010): We are sorry for you experience, however at the time of your order we were not aware that we no longer had the USA model in stock. Once informed, we promptly corrected the stock status. We would never willingly list an "Out Of Stock" item as "In Stock". We offered you the Import version as an alternative not as a bait and switch tactic. We will work on reflecting true stock status more accurately on our site. |

They have serious problems with international purchases, requiring manual credit card validation through email exchanges, and the tracking system does not allow you to cancel the order while it is being processed. Retailer Response (03/02/2010): Unfortunately due to overwhelming fraud with International Credit Cards, Photo 4 Less does extensive name and address verification. As specifically stated on our Policy Page we require a copy of all international credit cards. Once an order was placed, the only way to cancel an order is by calling our customer service dept as stated on our Policy Page, it is simply not safe to automate cancellation of orders. |

Based on the statement of the easy return policy if not satisfied, I am very please with this merchant. Further, the agreement statement is easy to read and does not consist of 10 pages of very small print. |
