I ordered an HP color laser printer on December 20, 2007. I mentioned in the order comments that it was intended as a Christmas gift, that I knew it would arrive after Christmas because I was ordering it late, and that I would appreciate whatever they could do to just get the order processed as quickly as possible. Well, they *CANCELLED* it, and then didn't even tell me! That's right--I had to discover this fact for myself, on Christmas Eve, by checking the order status on the website. I just happened to notice that my credit card still hadn't been charged, and got curious--lo and behold, the order was cancelled by the merchant, the gift was NEVER coming, and I was NEVER informed! And this was after I *told* them that this order was intended as a belated Christmas gift, and getting it quickly was important. There was *no explanation* offered for the cancellation--all I can say is that it had *nothing* to do with my ability to pay. I cannot begin to describe how disappointing this was. |

Do not purchase if you have a purchasing card, as they will need for you to include the billing address. Good price, but not a business-to-business efficient site. |

On 9/18/07 I ordered an HP 3055 PRINTER, they did a great job of getting the order out to me. However, on 9/20/07, I started getting 1,000's of dollars charged onto my credit card from numerous places from Europe and Eastern Block area. Fortunately, the credit card company noticed the fraudulant activity and stopped it on 9/25/07. 10's of 1000's of dollars charged to me. BUYER BEWARE !!!!!!!!!!!! |

i received the product quickly and at a good price BUT, the day after I made this purchase, 3 charges totaling $450 appeared on my card. I can't say for certain that this merchant was the cause of the charges, but I had only used my card at a Panera and Best Buy in the week before I used it online and the charges were out of California, same as MacHotDeals. AMEX reversed the charges for me, but I won't ever buy from MacHotDeals again. |
