I would not recommend this merchant to a friend. I ordered 2 HP Procurve switches. They arrived two in one box. The bottoms and the sides were all beat up. I called to get an RMA from them but they would not issue one. I have contacted them several times with no answer. I have turned it over to AMEX to to get these returned. |

So far, I have written many e-mails (never answered) and spent 4 days on the phone, mostly on hold, trying to convince them that a toner cartridge is part of a printer! Never buy from them. |

I ordered a Hewlett Packard Q5949A Toner cartridge for a HP Laserjet 1320 and recieved what appears to be an original (OEM) HP product but instead of being packed in an HP box, the item was shrink wrapped and it appears that it is remanufactured or refilled and only gave about 100 quality print pages before completely streking down the middle of the page and the "toner low" light has been on since I put the new toner in. I paid 50.00 for this item and the shipping was FedEx Ground (free) but took 4 business days (6 total) Retailer Response (09/26/2007): The date of purchase was dated back in June and it is under the ownership of the customer for three months now. The Q5949A ordered is in \"NEW\" condition complete with all HP \"orange\" seal tab. The product was shipped on schedule |

I purchased a Panasonic plasma display from Compu America. The purchasing experience was top notch – quick, efficient and uneventful. I had a couple questions after placing the order and they were answered immediately. My equipment arrived in perfect condition earlier than quoted. The driver helped me carry it up stairs. I am definitely very satisfied with Compu America and would recommend them to anyone. |

The Notebook i was looking for was sixty dollars less expensive than at any other retailer and the added memory was a good price as well. The shipping estimate was correct. I was overall very satisfied with my purchase through CompuAmerica. |

They were SO slow in answering my e-mails. I had to ask them over and over what my tracking # was. They didn't send it out until 8/23 - yet I ordered it on 8/2 - so, what was the delay? Everytime I finally reached them, they said it had been sent. Then, they didn't put my name & department name on the invoice or label and the mailroom didn't know who it was for (we have over 1,000 people - they aren't mind readers in the mailroom!). I have told my supervisor that I will not order from them again. Retailer Response (09/26/2007): Delivery fulfilled there was shipment delay. Will provide free shipment (ground)on next order. |

Two days after my confirmation email, I got an email that my credit card info was incomplete. I immediately emailed back the correct info, and got no response. I called and emailed, nothing. I canceled the order after one month of waiting b/c the order has still not been processed and all the website says is 'in fulfillment' next to my order status.
As a ps- when I went to the link that I originally used to find this product, it says refurbished next to the item for almost $60 MORE than the one they claimed to be selling me brand new!
I had a bad experience with this company previously (sent me a BROKEN REFURBISHED printer when I ordered a NEW one and it took months to get it resolved b/c their customer service is lousy) and I decided to give it another chance based on the great ratings... Maybe my experience was a fluke... Apparantly now I know that it's not! Retailer Response (09/26/2007): Order was originally placed 7/18/2007 but due to invalid credit card information we requested customer to submit valid credit card. On 8/6/2007 we received valid credit card information. Unfortunately the ordered item was an end-of-life product and we advised customer that we cancelled the order and we will not charge the customer's account. Preventive actions taken on our end was to change the advertised product's information. As for the post script comment made, this was ordered from different credit card account (but from the same business establishment) and the transaction was made July of 2006. The mentioned product was delivered however it got damaged (freight damaged). A full amount for the freight damaged product was credited back to the customer. |

These peope LIED from the start. I ordered by phone so there could be no mistake. They said they had the item in stock when they did not. I called every day asking for a tracking number.They gave excuses but kept PROMISING me the item had shipped. It was suppoes to arrive today and now at 5pm they finally confessed it was never shipped and it was not in stock. THEY TAKE YOUR ORDER THEN STRING YOU ALONG HOPING THEY CAN FIND THE ITEM AND THEN IF THEY CAN'T THEY OFFER TO CANCEL YOUR ORDER ON THE LAST POSSIBLE SECOND! Wow what a deal. Reluctantly bought from this merchant only because they had both products in stock. Otherwise would have bought elsewhere because of the high shipping costs. Then it turns out that I had miscalculated the shipping amount and Compuamerica came out to be cheaper then even the ones that didn't have stock. |

I received my computer at a competitive price with excellent customer service. CompuAmerica had it at a cost lower than any other on-line store that I could find (with standard shipping included). The staff who I did have contact with over the phone and through e-mail were very polite and responsive. I heard of CompuAmerica from my brother-in-law and would like to pass on the recommendation. |

I foolishly ignored the bad reviews on pricegrabber for this company, becuase they had the lowest price by a few dollars. In hindsight, I should have spent the extra $30 and ordered our projector from somewhere else. This company drop ships EVERYTHING, has nothing in stock. It took them 5 days an multiple phone calls to get them to ship my order. They have NO VOICEMAIL, and some crabby woman answers the phone sporadically during the day, im sure it is just one or two people in thier basement.
WARNING: Caveat Emptor! Don't buy anything from these idiots! Retailer Response (09/26/2007): Order placed on 7/26/07 however the credit account used is invalid. Valid credit card received 7/27/07. Agreed commitment date of shipping out the order was 7/31/07. Customer received the product in 08/02/07. |

(Edited August 03rd by NYCGirl34) I purchased what I expected to be a brand new printer for $199 from Compu-America. When I received it it was haphazardly boxed and clearly not new. The printer was not wrapped in plastic, didn't include the 2 cartridges which the set up guide says is included, and didn't have the printer USB cord so I couldn't even set it up. It looked like everything was just tossed into the manufacturers box, resealed, and shipped to me. On top of that, I look at Best Buy and they are selling the same printer brand new for $151. I won't be buying from Compu-America again. Retailer Response (09/26/2007): RMA was processed and an immediate full refund was charged back to the customer's credit account. |

They called me to verify my order because the number of Drive cases did not match the number of Drives ordered (which was correct). My only problem really was with FedEx. The order was supposed to be signed for at delivery, but instead it was left on my doorstep. I wanted to follow this up with FedEx, but found it difficult to reach them. |
