Order was placed on 6/19/07 which on their site showed stock. Called on 7/5/07 to check on order which when they did they had no explanation but said they would have one in possibly the following week. I cancelled the order on that day 7/5 and was told they would issue a credit right away. It is now 7/27 and still no credit. Called yesterday and the accounting department wasn't even in. I do not understand why this company has such a good rating but it makes me wonder how valid this rating system is. Do not order from this company. Retailer Response (09/26/2007): Unfulfilled delivery. Full refund was charged back to the customer's credit account. Will offer free (ground) shipment on next order |

My purchase experience at CompuAmerica was beyond my expectations. The order process was easy and didn't ask for my life story. The products were shipped the same day and were in my hands a day faster than expected. I would not hesitate to use them again. Good service and pricing, a great combination! |

I ordered a Cisco PIX 515e which their website said they had in stock. The merchant appeared to have a good overall rating, I didn't bother to look at the individual ratings or I might have done differently. After Ordering I received an immediate order confirmation but no communication after that. After a week I called in to see what the status of my order was. I tried to call customer service and got no-one. I tried several more times with no success. Finally, after about 4 hours I did reach someone. They told me that they did not have the item in stock and that it would be at least another week before they could get it if they could get it at all. The customer service was horrible. I think someone must be padding their ratings, because it looks like some other customers have had this same experience. AVOID THIS MERCHANT!!!!! Retailer Response (09/26/2007): Product was backordered. The order was cancelled, there were no charges made to the customer's end. |

The website indicated that my items were in stock. The ordering procedure was very precise and easy. The shipping was straightforward and secure through FedEx. Overall, I had a very simple, safe and easy experience. To top it off, my package arrived one day early. I'll be back. |

I had no problems with CompuAmerica. I ordered a printer from them. The price was lower on some other sites, but my insticts told me to go with CompuAmerica. I enjoyed tracking my FedEx order online, and it actually arrived a day earlier than predicted. It's been a few days now, and no problems with the product so far. One thing I didn't like was the short return period. I had to test out the printer right away but I think I would have done that anyway. Good Job all round. |

After a week and no emails, I called to find the status of my order for a Sharp LC-52D92U 52" LCD TV. I was told that the item was out of stock and it would be several weeks to get any more. I was also told that whatever the price of the TV at that time would be the price I was charged, but it would certainly be higher than what I paid. Their website continually showed the item in stock at a higher price. I was told that if I wanted to order one at the higher price, they could ship it immediately. This operation seems to be as dishonest as they come! Avoid ordering from them. Retailer Response (09/26/2007): Customer made order on 7/12/07. Initial credit card information was invalid, and received valid information the following day. After 3 days, we informed customer that the product is backordered, customer cancelled order. There were no credit card charges made from this customer. |

I am very pleased with the quality of the merchandise. My shipment was delayed due to an unrelated issue, not the fault of the merchant. Their prices are excellent. I am really impressed! I would not hesitate to buy something from them in the future and in fact, I will be buying again from compu america very soon. I cannot say enough about how happy I am with the great deal I got from them and how easy it was to order it! |

Found what I needed for a good price, shipping only took 3 days, merchandise arrived in pristine condition surrounded in MASS amounts of packing peanuts. All in all a good experice. |

was told this was in stock. The order was placed on 06/26 and received notification of shipment on 07/06 without tracking number. Will not order again. Still waiting for product to arrive, and waiting for tracking number. Avoid these people Retailer Response (09/26/2007): This was an order made the previous year 08/11/2006, it is under the customer's ownership since then. We can guarantee that the customer's product is under manufacture's warranty. |

The shopping experience I had with them was great. Their prices were reasonable, there was no high pressure upselling done, and everything went smooth. The shipping was a little pricey, however; my order came MUCH sooner than expected so I wouldn't qualify it as a gripe. |

I purchased an envelope feeder from these guys and the feeder didn't work. I emailed customer service and they responded to say that someone would be in touch with me. I waited about a week and emailed again. I kept getting the run around and no one ever got back in touch with me on this issue. After 7 emails to attempt to get my feeder replaced I ended up throwing it away and ordering a new one from somewhere else. $211.00 down the drain. |

I wanted to buy and ship a Projector to an out-of-state hotel and "meet it" there while I was traveling on business. It was imperitive that it would arrive and on time for an anual convention meeting my company was holding. I ordered the Projector on Friday, and within an hour got a phone call, confirming the unusual address. The Projector arrived on Monday. I could not have been more pleased. Outstanding vendor! |

Every answer they gave me was proven true inside the manual. They know their stuff. I also liked how they suggested for me NOT to buy all the accessories until I used the Notebook for a while. |

Seems like a recurring theme, after some major shipping address problems (where they would not confirm an alternate shipping address until I got the credit card company on the phone with them) they told me that an item was discontinued, yet it is still listed on their website at a higher price than I bought it for, meaning somebody had to go in and update it within the last week so surely it is not discontinued. Go figure, I'm cancelling my order before I get took by these people. |

One of the worst experience I have had online shopping. I was told on 3 different times I called that my order would ship out within the next 3 days, but this never happened. Manager would not return any of my calls. Product was listed as "in stock" but was not. I will gladly pay more and shop else where in the future. I do not recommend anyone else to shop at this un-professional site unless you like the headache. I have dates, time, and names of all of the numerous calls I made to see why I did not receive my order. This site wins the award of most irritating. If you don't beleive me, try your luck. |
