Unless I missed it there was no confirmation of product being in stock. On the good side, I was able to order specific memory by inputing HP / Compaq part number. |

no particular comment - although I would like to comment on the pricegrabber.com form, it's really not terribly good. I got an error when I submitted saying "** One of the required evaluation questions below was left blank. **" but with no visual indication as to what quesiton I missed. |

Beware! Beware! Beware! Beware! THEY DO FALSE ADVERTISING. I purchased a 4gb compact flash memory card form this merchant at an attractive price. I paid with my credit card and I got confirmation that the order was received. After 10 days had passed without hearing from the merchant about when the product would be shipped, I called and they gave me three differnt contradicting scenarion: a) that the product was on backorder 2) no longer available even though the product was still on their website with the same price 3) the manufacturer stopped producing the product. I feel unconfortable doing business with these types of individuals, especially giving them my credit card information. After a long discussion with the merchant, they simply cancelled my order. Called for pricing on new CPU. Customer Rep reported a price that seemed fair, and clearly indicated that I could return this item, no questions asked. I called the following morning to order the part, and the price doubled. Company would not honor orginal quote. I complained to the sales team, and received a personal email from the owner, explaing it was just a mis-understanding. I went online, ordered my CPU, and it arrived DOA. Emailed the next business day for return, and was told I am SOL, this part can not be returned? As I use SKYPE to place my phone call, and the conversation was recorded, perticullary in regards to my orginal price, and assurance of a refund, I am very surprised that the company no longer wants to communicate with the customer. I am going to challenge their no return
process in the legal arena, as well as a complaint will be made to the State Attorney General's office as internet fraud. Pease take my advice and stay away from this company. Sent me the wrong memory and then became arguementative when I wanted to return it. I was charged a 20% re-stocking fee for thier mistake, shipping not included. It was 2 weeks before any money posted to my credit card and they only credited me for one of the 2 memory sticks I purchased. After calling these people several times in regard to the second stick I finally got a refund. That took another month. Nobody needs this kind of hassle when making an internet purchase......Buyer beware of Memory4Less.com. Retailer Response (09/27/2006): That mistake was totally made by customer and we tried our level best to resolve his issue. I dont think that it happened like that, we value our customer so much. Even if the customer made a mistake we tried to resolve the issues as much as possible but also we have to follow the company policy. Thanks and have a good day. |
