WOW! I placed my order late afternoon on Sunday and my order arrived around noon on Tuesday. That was with using the standard shipment! Everything was in the the one box carefully packed. So far so good. Originally placed order with another company that tried an "up sell" and then told my the camera was out of stock. 17th Street lived up to their reputation and other reviews I read about them. Thanks! |

1st time using this company. It came to my attention, as part of a search, that another company that I bought from about a month ago had a lower price and was labeled "Best Value". However, I noticed that 17th Street Photo had a "Trusted Seller" label and for the product I was ordring and the high price; that seemed more important and the only recommendation I could make is to have the order status avilable from placement on line through shipping. this was a very good shopping experience. |

Only thing is that it was stated that UPS would not drop item without a signature, they did! I left town so had my brother check the house and found the lens sitting on the porch..the box was soaked from a steady rain...the lens box inside seems fine (according to my brother. I will inspect the lens thoroughly when I return home. Thanks-J |

Great deal,Mark and Ron went beyond being nice and answering all of my questions about the Sigma 17-70mm F/2.8-4.5 price was $105.00 cheaper than the other big store and its has the USA Warranty(verified by phone call to sigma with s/n). 17Photo is obviously good at shipping orders as their ratings reflect it. The return, however, is completely a different story. I placed 2 separate orders - 1 for camera and 1 for its case. Upon my request, they shipped them in one box. After getting them, I didn't like the products so decided to return. As I got them, I returned both in one box - in the same box they sent me. A few weeks later when I checked for refund status, they said they didn't get the case, which is about $100 worth. And they just refunded for the camera only. I insisted to check again - once they ignored my e-mail then finally replied today saying they didn't get it. I said I would chargeback, and they told me that it would just hurt my credit score. Either their return manager/staff doesn't know what he's doing or is a thief who steals returned goods. I wouldn't order from them ever again. |

I liked dealing with 17th Street. They called me the day after I placed my order to confirm that I was the one that placed the order on my credit card. They did not try to pressure me into buying anything else, like I've heard some others do. I was very pleased with the merchandise and it arrived in a timely manner with no damages. Would highly recommend this merchant. I will use them on my next purchase. |

I placed my order on Saturday and received it on Tuesday - before the shipping information even appeared on the website! Amazing. The shipper did leave the package on my doorstep even though the website stated that packages must be signed for. In my case it was not a problem, but buyers should be aware. |
