My best experience ever with an NYC discount camera store! Great price, reasonable shipping cost, and it arrived on time, as promised, US warranty and all. I ordered a digital camera, with no accessories, and so I was expecting to have to phone in and deal with a pushy salesman. Never happened - I got an email the very next day saying that the order had shipped, and giving me a tracking number. |

What an awsome place! I ordered on Tuesday the Canon Rebel EOS 2000 they called me 2 hours later to confim. 2 hours after that I had an e-mail with my Fedex tracking number. The package was delivered yesterday! 17photo is AWSOME!!!! Im a Network admin so I think im guru when it comes to the web and this place is FAR BETTER THAN THE REST! I look forward to doing more business with this company. BTW: I'm telling everyone! This place ROCKS! |

I highly reccomend 17th Street Photo, they are awesome. We ordered a Canon Rebel 2000, and had it overnighted to us, we had it in less than 24 Hours. The best part was there price, after the overnight fee, and the price of the camera we still saved 20% off the best price our local store offered. We will be sure to buy from them again. AAA |

Customer service was very helpful when ordering a Nikon Coolpix 995 camera and accessories. Order was placed on Tuesday and was to be received Friday or Monday. Actual order was received early on Thursday afternoon. Order was well packed, contents included were as described on their web site. Very easy and enjoyable shopping experience. |

I can't speak for others, but my experience with 17th avenue was nothing short of excellent. My salesperson was knowledgable, courteous, and there was absolutely NO pressure. I ordered a pair of canon 10x30 IS binoculars and he promised me that they would be shipped that day and they were. When I received them today, he even included the certificate for a rebate: no hassle having to pull it off the internet. |

I spent half a day reading various reviews on this and other sites, and although I was hesitant to buy from a company with only 5 reviews, they were so good that I decided to give 17th Street a try. And I am glad I did -- even though I ordered after 3PM my order went out the same day. I got 2 e-mails and was able to track the package to my door. Best internet buying experience I've ever had. I could not be more pleased with this first experience with you! Your price was the best on the web, especially considering the extra 3-year warranty and the fact that this was the QD version of the camera. You fulfilled the order promptly and flawlessly. I purchased Canon binoculars from 17th St Photo. It was the best experience I've ever had purchasing electronic/optic/photo equipment from an online or catalogue merchant. In the past I found that good prices were not worth the hard ball sales tactics and hassles I encountered. 17th St Photo had the best price with only a modest shipping fee. I received informative e-mails with tracking info. The product was mailed the same day I placed my order and arrived in two days. I'll be back! |

About 4 hours ago I ordered a digital camera and some peripherals at 17th St Photo. I just received an email that all the items are on their way by FedEx at the quoted prices. That's what I consider really superior service. |

Great Experience!!! Ordered a Nikon 995 via the web at noon on the Friday before the Memorial Day weekend. With normal shipping, product shipped that afternoon and was received the following Wednesday. Product was well packed and just as advertised. |

I ordered a Fuji FinePix s602 camera. The sales person went through the list of accessories, but did not put ANY pressure on me to order any of them. The call was very professional. I called at about 3:00 PM and there was an email sent with a tracking number by 5:30 PM. The camera arrived and was very well packed and worked great. This was an awesome experience and I will definitely buy from them again. Thanks for a good experience. |

If there was a rating above a 5 I would give it to 17th St Photo. Can not say enough good stuff about these folks. I called on a Tues to order my Fuji S602. They told me the camera was in stock and would ship that day. It arrived on that Fri. No high pressure to buy add-ons, very curtious sale people, and super prices! If you are looking to buy do not look any further than 17th Street Photo. They are a 10 in my book and will have ALL of my future digital needs! |

These guys can't be from New York, they weren't surly jerks to me on the phone. In fact, they were very helpful and courteous, they shipped my order only a couple hours after I ordered and emailed me a tracking number... and even enclosed a rebate form in my order that I was unaware about. Simply great service. |

Bought a Nikon Coolpix 5000. Very honest, very good customer support. Said the camera was in stock, I made the purchase and received the camera as described in 2 business days. Not the cheapest, but definitely very reliable. For those of you with AmEx Gold card, you can purchase from 17th Street, and AmEx will price match up to $250. Just show them the ad from the less reputable sellers who promise more than they can deliver. Bottom line is I paid $600 |

Just had to write these guys a review. I was reluctant to try out a vendor with only 20 reviews, but I went ahead and boy am I glad. I submitted my order via the website at 4:45pm. I immediatly received an email with a tracking number. By 5:45 the order was already picked up by Fedex and arrived at my door within 36 hours. That's with the regular shipping! Item ordered was exactly as described and in perfect condition. I recommend them. |

Ok people if you want to buy anything electronic this is the company. I ordered the camera online Friday and I had it on Wednesday (I live on the west coast). The price wasn't the cheapest but it was very close. The no hassle factor was well worth any added expense. Don't deal with any company that has a call back verification, they only want to sell you junk and they'll pressure you. 17th Street Photo was no pressure, no hype, no rude people just professionals doing an excellent job. |
