I've ordered 2 Hitachi drives from OWC. I was fortunate to have a sales person who was also very technically savvy re: SATA systems and RAID setups, although most sales people I have spoken with there have been well above average. I never felt rushed or pushed into buying anything. Items were well packaged, arrived promptly, and tech support was available to help out. These guys were a pleasure to deal with for me and my Mac. |

Will not do business with vendor again. Product was listed as in stock and even ships same day if order completed before 5pm . Placed order 3/7/07 checked status following day, It was still waiting for product allocation. I used the interface provided via the web site and sent a message requesting ststus. I received no response. After checking status a few more days and waiting until 3/12/07 where by I still did not have product allocation I decided to call in. After being on hold for 33 minutes I used the online chat and spoke with a representative. I was informed the web site was wrong and my item was out of stock sorry. We can email you an ETA once we get it. No offer of shipping or any other considerations for being lied to. First last and only order I will ever have with OWC |

I think OWC/MacSales is great! They're real people, their merchandise is always great (like with regard to disk enclosures, with a million vendors/models out there OWC/MacSales picks out only the best ones to sell), their service and time to ship is great, and their prices are always reasonable (like I'm not going to waste a lot of time price shopping if they have what I want). This order was for a couple of NewerTech V2 enclosures, I'm completely satisfied with my purchase as well as all past purchases I've made with them. |

The item I order said ships "Pending". I assume it meant the parts is out of stock and back ordered. Will see how fast the part arrives. After looking at reviews for another vendor, I decided to order the part through OWC instead based on my past experience purchasing from OWC. |

(Edited February 29th by treefrog07) 2nd of two orders. As with my first order: ordering was easy. Processing and shipment timely. Product delivered as promised with no glitches. Since I'm more pc-oriented than MAC, I will patronize this vendor when our paths cross. Very satisfied. Especially since product price has increased by $5 since I bought mine. |
