Good and Nice

Strengths: light weight, motor hp

Weakness: electric connector on unit is very thin and flimsy

I have small back yard and grass in front of house. This is my first trimmer, and it come out very nice. Its motor is powerful and unit is light weight. It is easy to use and does not make loud noise like gas trimmer, though you have to use long extension cord to cover area but it is nice choice for small to mid size yard.

This is a Great little tool. I'm not sure how automatic feed works, but it works great! Did around my whole yard (lots of things to trim around) and the string was just as long when I finished as when I started. I hope it's not too hard to reload spool when it runs out. A powerful Edger

Strengths: Lightweight, automatic string feeding, dual functions as edgers and trimmer

I own a gas, cordless, and now an electric line trimmer/edger. This Black and Decker ST7700 is my favorite one. I hesitated to purchase it, since the various online reviews were mixed. Trim and a lawn cut, two bits

Weakness: Auto-feed doesn't always work, handle a bit short

This is a great trimmer for the investment. Seems to have lots of power. I've had problems with the auto-feed advancing the cutting line, but it's easy to pull the bottom apart and feed out some line manually. Black & Decker 13 in Automatic Feed Trimmer / Edger...

Strengths: * light weight * automatic line feed works * converts from trimmer to edger with easy twist * electric and not gas powered

Weakness: * feels very flimsy * you could easily tell this is one of the cheaper trimmers * cord could be longer

I got this trimmer because living in Florida one has to keep their lawns in good shape. I own gas trimmer and got tired of the loud noises and fumes coming out of it. So I decided to get this electric trimmer. It's ok. But it feels like it not made of quality materials. Feels flimsy. I like the automatic line feed. Like I said, it's OK but not great.
