Great monitor
Strengths: DVI input and DVI cable
Weakness: No speakers
Very good for the price. Great contrast and brightness. The view angle is not very good but you can not expect more with a TN panel. The shape is very good too. It would be better if a pair of speakers included.
A Good Backup Monitor
Strengths: Brightness, Wide Angle, DVI
Weakness: No speakers
Nothing quite impressive about this LCD except for its extra brightness which, I think comes with all Acer brand LCDs. Setup was easy and bottuons are intuitive. As today's 22's and 24's keep going cheaper and cheaper, this 19' is good as a backup.
Acer 19" widescreen
Strengths: Good picture quality. Nice amount of brightness/color.
Weakness: Acer startup screen every single time monitor is turned on. Resolution a bit low.
This is a very nice budget widescreen monitor for most uses. Quality is definitely good for work/office use but probably not for gaming purposes. I definitely recommend this monitor for everyday use.

Picked one up @ Staples on a Clearance deal. Was pleasantly surprised @ the quality of image and color saturation. It is an 8 bit screen 16.7 million colors. At the low price I paid(under $100.00) I was expecting a 6 bit panel because of the fast response time. Very pleased so far. Also like the fact that they do not waste space on cheap speakers. Profile fists work area nicely.

This is my first widescreen lcd and I am quite impressed with this model from Acer. It has no dead pixels, good 700:1 contrast and crisp colors. Excellent 19 inch widescreen LCD

I bought this monitor when it is on sale. Total price is just around $120. But it is great. I love acer's design, it looks much better than my old sumsung one. It carries both VGA and DVI port, so don't worry about your old computer. It has high resolution and high contrast, perfect for my gaming time. In one word, nothing can beat this monitor at this price level.
Awesome Monitor

I recently picked up this monitor at Staples for $130. I had been using a 15" LCD that I purchased over 3 years ago. This monitor is so much better. I love the widescreen format. I have been using this monitor to play games and watch movies, and so far, I have no problems with its performance.

Strengths: Good quality.
Weakness: A different native resolution.
A very good product by Acer. The native resolution of 1440x900 is not supported by some older video cards. If you have a newer one, you will be fine. Has a DVI connection as well as VGA connection. Very good build quality with no dead pixels.

Strengths: Very bright and clear. No bad pixels. Best price for a 19-inch wide LCD with DVI.
Weakness: I wish every LCD has a built-in speaker. Though it may be a piece of junk, it is still better than nothing.
I have four home PCs. The last CRT was replaced by this LCD. It looks so nice and takes much less space than the old 19-inch CRT. A lot lighter too. The screen is bright. I do not see any bad pixels. If you wish to get the highest quality images out of this LCD monitor probably best to ensure you have the video hardware and associated drivers that will support its native resolution of 1440 x 900.
